The North Javanese Coast Batik Path 2025 - Payment 2 of 2

Join me to live a unique experience in Indonesia focused on cultural and sustainable tourism. For 14 days we will live in a village in the south of Yogyakarta learning Batik in the artisans' workshops, learning with them this ancient technique considered since 2009 bye the UNESCO an Intangible Cultural Heritage. The workshops that we will take will be: 

• Traditional Batik from Yogya Kingdom and Solo Kingdom
• Contemporary Batik
• Batik on wood
• Batik with stamps
• Batik on ceramics
• Intuitive Batik
• Batik with natural dyes
• Batik with eco-print
• Batik on leaves

Additionally, we will approach to Indonesian culture by visiting:

• Borobudur, the largest Buddhist temple in the world
• Prambanan, the Hindu temple of the kingdom of Yogyakarta
• We will go to the foothills of Merapi, we will have local tea and coffee
• We will visit the palaces of the kingdom of Yogya and Solo
• We will see a traditional Javanese dance
• We will visit the museums of Yogyakarta
• We will learn to play the Gamelan, the Indonesian orchestra, with a group of Indonesian children. 
• We will go to traditional markets
• We will enjoy the calm way of life living in a village and eating local food

I am Llany (@llany_batik_studio) a visual artist specializing in Indonesian Batik, an art that I learned when I received a scholarship from the Indonesian government to study art and traditional music in 2014. I want to share with you, from a respectful and cultural perspective, the beauty of batik and the people who make it. My team and I will travel with you on this trip so you can live the experience that changed my life, helping the local economy and sharing amazing moments with local people, who will receive you with an open heart.

Acompáñame a vivir una experiencia única en Indonesia enfocada al turismo cultural y sostenible. Durante 14 días viviremos en una aldea del sur de Yogyakarta aprendiendo Batik en los talleres de artesanos,  aprendiendo con ellos esta milenaria técnica, patrimonio de la humanidad. Los talleres que tomaremos serán:

• Batik tradicional del reino de Yogya y del reino de Solo
• Batik contemporáneo
• Batik sobre madera
• Batik con sellos
• Batik sobre cerámica
• Batik intuitivo
• Batik con tintes naturales

• Batik sobre hojas

Además, complementaremos nuestro acercamiento a la cultura Indonesia visitando

•  Borobudur, el templo budista más grande del mundo
• Prambanan, el templo Hinudista del reino de Yogya
• Iremos a las faldas del Merapi, tomaremos te y café local
• Visitaremos los palacios del reino de Yogya y Solo
• Veremos una danza tradicional javanesa
• Visitaremos los museos de Yogya 
• Aprenderemos a tocar el Gamelan, la orquesta indonesia, de la mano de un grupo de niños Indonesios. 
• Iremos a mercados tradicionales
• Disfrutaremos de la tranquilidad de vivir en una aldea, comiendo comida local

Yo soy Llany una artista plástica especialida en Batik de Indonesio, arte que aprendí al ser becada por el gobierno de Indonesia para estudiar en el 2014 dicho arte y la música tradicional. Quiero compartirte desde una perspectiva respetuosa y cultural, la belleza del batik y de la gente que lo hace. Te acompañaremos en este viaje para que puedas vivir la experiencia que me cambió la vida, ayudando también a la gente local que te recibirá con el corazón abierto.
